Norwich Indian dinner Delights Guests, Raises Funds

norwich dancingA group of volunteers from a center in Norwich UK, that offers information about Prem Rawat’s message of peace, recently decided to organize a fundraising event in support of TPRF's humanitarian initiatives.

It was December and it seemed that everyone in the city felt the season of joy and celebration. The group followed that joyous mood and held a fund-raising party with plenty of good food and lots of music and dancing. They invited friends and locals from the cities of Norwich and Cambridge.

Gifts donated for a raffle included a beautiful wooden puppet, hand-made by a local artist, paintings, wine, chocolates, and glass ornaments.

One volunteer said the atmosphere was “joyful, warm and welcoming,” while several others said the evening was “very special indeed.” Seemingly everyone enjoyed it, especially the dancing—they couldn’t get enough of it. Said one of the party’s organizers: “We all left with a warm glow in our hearts.”

To give an overview of the work of TPRF, the volunteers showed the DVD "Dignity, Peace and Prosperity" and a display of brochures about TPRF was available.

The festive evening raised more than £340 (US$530) towards TPRF’s humanitarian aid initiatives to bring food, water, and eye care to those most in need.
