People Giving to People
The work of TPRF is made possible by the generosity of people from over 50 countries. This includes both direct financial support as well as the voluntary donation of personal time and effort helping the Foundation with specific projects or ongoing support activities.
Financial Contributions
Each donation is important, whatever the size, and can help make a significant difference in people’s lives, whether by making Prem Rawat’s message of peace available worldwide or providing essential aid for those most in need. The Prem Rawat Foundation is a California not-for-profit public benefit corporation with a tax exempt 501(c)(3) status granted by the U.S. Internal Revenue Service. Your contribution will be well-used: most of the Foundation’s staff, including the Board of Directors, are volunteers; and TPRF offices are virtual.
DONATIONS may be given on a one-time or repeat basis, and they may be directed to specific initiatives or "where most needed" according to your preference. Contributions by U.S. taxpayers are tax deductible based on TPRF's IRS status as a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit charity organization. (Please refer to your accountant or IRS-provided materials for your specific options regarding tax deductions.)

Volunteer
While the delivery of humanitarian aid is handled entirely by our partner charities, there are many ways to lend a hand.
Most of the people who make the work of the Foundation possible are volunteers—from project managers to writers, designers, editors, proof readers, translators, and communications experts—a network of people from different countries who offer their time and expertise, with only a skeleton staff to coordinate the efforts. As specific roles are needed, the role descriptions are posted here. Anyone interested is welcome to request further information. See current available volunteer positions here.
Sponsor Fundraising Activities
Every year groups of TPRF supporters have joined together to raise funds for the Foundation’s projects. Sometimes they focus on a specific cause and sometimes not. Golf fans on four continents have held Benefit Golf Tournaments, often involving local sponsors, and followed by a dinner. In 2009, they raised over $170,000.
Others have held auctions, concerts, special dinners, picnics, sales, and more—each with their own flavor, reflecting the desire to have a lot of fun and help others in the process. While the Foundation does not sponsor fundraising events, support is available in the way of materials, information, photos, and contact with others who have put on similar events, where possible.
