At a conference on February 3, 2010, the Dhading District Development Committee (DDC), which governs the village of Tasarpu, invited representatives from Premsagar Foundation Nepal, which runs the Food for People program, to give a presentation about the program's activities and impact. A great deal of excitement was expressed that such a practical and unique program was working so well in one of Nepal's poorest communities, and the hope was expressed that it could be replicated in other parts of the country. |
