Prem Rawat’s Message of Peace: A TV Success in South America

Buenos Aires, Argentina, September 17 — When the Spanish television show “Una Posibilidad” (meaning “A Possibility”) first aired in 2001 on the Magazine Channel in Argentina, Uruguay, and Paraguay, it was just that—a possibility. Four years later, the twice-weekly program, which presents excerpts from Maharaji's addresses, reaches 9 million homes throughout South America, Central America, and Mexico on the subscription cable channel Infinito. The program is also aired on many Hispanic networks in the U.S.

Viewer response to “Una Posibilidad” is enthusiastic. In June, because of the program’s significant increase in ratings, Infinito repeated the series beyond its original schedule for the entire month. In addition, on June 16th, Infinito aired a one-hour special, showcasing an interview of Prem Rawat by award-winning TV journalist Burt Wolf.

Numerous appreciative emails from Spanish-speaking viewers are received each day.
