Prem Rawat Brings Message of Hope to Indian Villagers
I-Newswire press release
New Delhi, India, March 16 – In the past 11 days, Prem Rawat, known worldwide as Maharaji, has addressed more than 175,000 people at historic events in Ballabhgarh, Jabalpur, Waidham, and Gorakhpur with his message of peace. In previous years, Prem Rawat has addressed hundreds of thousands of people in the major cities of India. For the people who live in these remote villages, not easily accessible by public transport, it seemed impossible financially and physically to travel to hear him speak.
Responding to the many invitations from all over the country, Prem Rawat decided to travel by helicopter to reach out to those in rural India, without any cost to them. He uses a uniquely designed set of “trailers” that open out to a small stage with the highest quality equipment, including a giant screen, so that everyone can hear and see him easily.
Following this tour, he returned to New Delhi, where he was invited to speak at a three-day international event, attended by 30,000 people from over 40 countries, as well as the New Delhi area.
Prem Rawat’s vision of a peace that begins with each individual is apparent in India, as he travels from village to village. Although he speaks to vast crowds, each person has the sense of an individual message just for them.
Mina Vadher, a civil servant from the UK who attended the event in Gorakpur, said: “I feel so privileged to be here. When we arrived, we had to park twenty minutes away because there were so many people going to the event. The whole town was on the way there—just a huge sea of people. When the crowds waited for Prem Rawat to come on stage, it was so quiet you could hear a pin drop. I’ve learned so much from him—mainly that life is for enjoying, and you’ve got to find the happiness that lies within.”
Ramil Vikash is a businessman from Australia who took time out of his busy schedule to attend the event in Ballabgarh as well as the international event in New Delhi. He said: “The two places are very different. From the simple town to sophisticated New Delhi, whether people are rich or poor, Prem Rawat has the same message. I’ve learned that I can rely on him.”
Prem Rawat works tirelessly to reach as many people as he can and help them live a more fulfilled life. His message attracts people from all walks of life and circumstances, and this tour is an example of that. His inspiration has certainly made a difference to the people in those small towns who have never seen anything like this before. Invitations have been pouring in, not only from the villages he has just been to, but from the many small towns that eagerly await the opportunity to hear him deliver his message of hope in person.
