OBJECTIVE:

Coordination of Peace Education Program representation at selected conferences worldwide

ANSWERS TO: Peace Education Program Conference Project Manager

DESCRIPTION:

Member of a small global team that develops annual PEP conference schedules. Four members needed.

TASKS:

• Input information into schedule and plans using shared Google drive
• Participation in conference calls (optional)
• Researching relevant conferences for promoting Peace Education Program
• Helping recruit qualified conference participants
• Assisting with processes of applications, registrations, speakers’ bios, follow-ups with conference contacts,
etc.
• Additional related tasks as required and according to skills of the team member, such as selecting
appropriate materials for presentations and display booths and/or representing Peace Education Program at
selected conferences

SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:

• Experience with or willingness to learn Shared Google Drive, Google docs and spreadsheets
• Familiarity with the Peace Education Program
• Proven experience participating in a collaborative team
• Good spoken and written English
• Experience promoting the Peace Education Program at conferences a plus
• Budgeting experience a plus

REQUIRED RESOURCES: Good internet access, computer

TRAINING/BRIEFING PROVIDED:

Basic training with Shared Google Drive, Google docs and spreadsheets provided

LOCATION: Remote anywhere in the world

TIME COMMITMENT:

Availability up to 3 hours/week

Duration: 6 months, to be assessed for ongoing role
