OBJECTIVE:

To help make PEP course materials easily accessible to PEP licensees worldwide

 

ANSWERS TO: PEP Program Manager

DESCRIPTION:

Oversees translation and quality assurance of translated PEP materials (video and written) and ensures the PEP resources portal is populated with these translated PEP materials

TASKS:

• Communications with translation team leads
• Performing some administrative tasks regarding these translations and the translation team volunteers
• Ensuring translation and quality assurance workflows are communicated and followed.
• Delivering assets required for translating PEP materials
• Collecting translated materials

SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:

• Project Management training or experience required
• Good spoken and written business English required
• Good communication skills with people of various cultures
• Translation or interpretation experience helpful
• Fluency in two or more languages helpful
• Experience with Microsoft Office (Word and Excel) and Skype or Zoom
• Knowledge of cloud computing software platforms (such as Dropbox) helpful
• Basic knowledge of audio recording, subtitling and desktop publishing software (Adobe InDesign) helpful

REQUIRED RESOURCES: • Personal computer, Good internet access

TRAINING/BRIEFING PROVIDED:

Briefing on the use of TPRF’s specific processes and workflows will be provided by the PEP Program Manager.

LOCATION: Virtual

TIME COMMITMENT:

5-7 hours/week
