ANSWERS TO: Executive Editor

DESCRIPTION:

The Website Translation Coordinator is responsible for communicating with translation team leads on translation needs, developing workflows and for posting translated content on the website.

TASKS:

• Act as communications liaison between Executive Editor and translation team leads for each translated language (Spanish, French, Italian, German)
• Communicate new translation needs and timelines to translation team leads
• Develop workflow processes for translation teams
• Prepare bi-lingual tables with new web content and provide links to translation team leads
• Receive translated content from translation teams and post on the website

SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:

• Project Management experience
• Good spoken and written business English required
• Good communication skills
• Translation or interpretation experience helpful
• Strong computer skills with experience in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel) and Google apps
• Experience with Wordpress and WPML translation plug-in a plus

REQUIRED RESOURCES: Personal Computer, good internet access

TRAINING/BRIEFING PROVIDED:

Training on Wordpress and WPML will be provided

LOCATION: Virtual

TIME COMMITMENT:

4-6 hours/week
